As promised in this lighting fixture post, I had another plumbing pipe lamp in the works that I wanted to share!
I originally planned for this project to be a DIY, but somehow lost the process photos and also think it was a little complicated for a tutorial. If you have some basic construction knowledge, I totally recommend playing around with pipe to create a lighting fixture or even try something like this.
If you're hesitant about wiring, just go to your local hardware store and ask someone. They can tell you how to do it in no time and some good tips. I just make all of my fixtures out of extension cords that are around 2 dollars.
I hope you enjoy this minimal sort of raw lighting fixture. I am becoming more interested in lighting because I'm currently learning about electric lighting in my environmental control systems class. It has me thinking that I should try to create some sort of lampshade for this to make a nicer quality of light.
