Life Lately // Volume 1

A new weekly installment I want to have on the blog is a little catch up with you at the end of the week on Sundays. As a big Instagram lover I want to share a little more about each of my snaps with you, and also share some of my favorite links + finds of the week down below as well.

Things were pretty great in my neck of the woods. The sun has been out a shocking amount and I've been able to leave my window open all day. After only getting 17 hours of sun in the month of January, we were really lacking some light in our lives. I also had quite the makeover on Thursday! And finally, I had a lot of good times with old and new friends.

1// Nyhavn [New Harbor] is one of the most popular site-seeing locales in Copenhagen, and I am lucky enough to live down the street from it. *Pinch me* I stop and take it in for a bit on my bike ride home 2// Here is my new look from Reno Blvd Salon! It was quite a shock at first, but I have found some new ways to style the cut and am now loving it!  3// Snagged these rad menswear inspired boots at Zara for less than $50. They are having such a killer sale right now 4// Earl grey is a new love in my life and I greet each morning with a cup of it as part of my Morning Routine P.S. Click that link to watch my latest video!

5// Another view of the neighborhood I live in. I really don't want to leave Copenhagen! 6//  I'm working at an urban renewal organization this semester, and we had a grand opening party last week to invite the neighborhood in 7// A snap of Berlin's Eastside Gallery painted on preserved portions of the Berlin Wall. I'll be sharing more of my trip photos this week! 8// I checked out the new sustainability exhibition at the Danish Architecture Center with some friends on Wednesday #behindthegreendoor

Links I'm Loving:

  • I just found a new home DIY blog that I am OBSESSED with. Check out Vintage Revivals. You won't be disappointed.
  • I'm not a graphic design student as you may know, but I love the trade and like finding new ways to improve my skills. 5 Resources for Continuing Your Graphic Design Education has some great options.
  • I'm back in the Twitter world and it's become one of the best ways for me to find interesting articles on urban design + architecture. I find myself retweeting city planner Brent Toderian nearly every day.

What are you loving this week? x. Paige
