Hey loves and Happy Sunday! I just had a really fun trip to Sweden + Finland for a week, and flew into Copenhagen on Friday night. It's good to be "home"! Some highlights were going Steven Hohl's Chiasma Contemporary Art Museum in Helsinki, eating authentic Swedish meatballs, and Stockholm's photography museum, the Fotografiska. Oh and I can't forget that we experienced a traditional Finnish naked sauna. Yep, I jumped into a hole cut into a lake covered with 44 centimeters of ice, butt naked. It was hilariously fun to run back and forth from the smoke sauna to the lake! My friends and I are determined to hit up the sauna in Copenhagen one more time before we are stateside. Anways, here are some highlights from my week via Instagram [@punkrockparti].
1// One fellow blogger that I keep up with religiously is Bri from Designlovefest. She visited Stockholm earlier this year, and I kept her Stockholm travel guide pulled up on my phone while we were exploring the city. On our last day, we tried this incredible spot, Urban Deli. It was one of the best meals I've ever had + the atmosphere was light and colorful. If you ever find yourself in Stockholm you can't miss out on this spot. 2// A little outfit preview from Stockholm, outside their awesome public library 3// I know I promised to wear more color, but Stockholm was still just a bit too chilly to ditch my classic black coat. I'm working on it! 4// Before heading out, my friend Elsa and I hit up Monki because I needed some new jeans...and obviously I needed this shirt. It's so spring!
Links I'm Loving Lately:
- I can't wait to have my own space to decorate one day, and the one I'm most excited to work on is a personal studio. I pin all of my inspiration to my Studio Spaces board on Pinterest, which is full of dreamy spaces I wish I could call my own.
- While traveling, I found myself in quite a few amazing bookstores, and I have 2 that i'm dying to get my hands on. First is a gorgeous book of well-designed maps called A Map of the World: The World According to Illustrators and Storytellers. I'm telling you, it's gorgeous. The second is Love Goes to Buildings on Fire: Five Years in New York That Changed Music Forever, which sounds like the perfect read for a punk-rock loving girl like myself. I'll be adding it to my Kindle soon!
- I also have gotten excited about YouTube again [probably because I finally have some daylight to film with] and my latest video is a Spring Haul! I finally feel like I've gotte comfortable filming. Check it out!
Stay tuned this week for some fun style posts and another haul video! Love you guys and I'll see you tomorrow! x, Paige.
