This past week was my first official work week for Studio Skate. While I have been busy managing the Kickstarter, this was the first time that I had a schedule every day to work on my new brand. I shared on Instagram that I found a studio space! This was a game changer and I have so much space [and motivation!] to work. Here's what I was up to in the studio this week:
// Proudly holding the keys to my studio! Would you guys like a tour of it in a future post?
// First day on the job! I have my prismacolors handy for sketching, and some books + mags on hand for inspo.
// I'm pretty proud of this deck that I painted on Thursday. The reason I decided to grow my brand was so I would have more time to develop my own designs. I had this idea floating around in my head for a while, and it was really rewarding to paint it out.
// You can snag both of the boards pictured in this post in the online shop, which just launched this week!
Since I only moved into my studio on Wednesday, I didn't get a full work week in. I'm pretty stoked to pump a few more boards out next week after I get back from vacation! You know you love your job when you are excited to go back to work... ;) See you tomorrow guys! x, Paige
I have yet another skateboard for you today! This was commissioned board that I did for a friend to give to her boyfriend. It was a pretty unique request, blue tropical flowers with a running pomeranian and their anniversary in "thug" font.
I wanted to include this photo when just the background was finished, because I really liked how it turned out.
I also made another process video because I think it's a cool addition to the photos, so check it out or see more photos below!
