Beanie Weather by the Harbor

IMG_1929 My friend Ashley, who I know from Arizona, studies abroad in Dublin and is here visiting me this week! Today we walked all around Copenhagen so I could show her the city and the sites. Since we were spending most of our time outside, a beanie was necessary and I am absolutely obsessed with this new one I picked up by Carhartt. I've seen people wearing this brand in Amsterdam, Denmark, and Paris and love the street style look! I was super cozy for a day of walking through Newhavn, jumping on the trampolines along the harbor, and eating delicious Nutella crepes. I love when friends come to stay with me because it lets me re-experience the city all over again through new eyes!

Thought I should also give you guys a little disclaimer for this's definitely too cold to only be wearing a muscle tank and cardigan outside right now. I slipped off my coat, scarf, and gloves just so I could show you the most interesting part of my outfit. So although I won't be pictured wearing too many layers in future outfit posts, just remember I'm definitely wearing a coat as soon as the camera is put away! Thanks for reading today guys! x. Paige

Pattern Mixing in Paris

IMG_9748 Flashback to last week in Paris where I stayed at the apartment of one of my fellow architecture girlfriends from California who is abroad over there. This is her charming courtyard outside of her apartment that was adjoined by a stone entry and led into her cozy space accented by amazing crown moulding. I can't describe it in any other words except for being just so Parisian. When I was packing, I felt like going Parisian myself, and ended up with lots of stripes in my suitcase. On our first day out exploring the city, I decided to spice up the look by adding another pattern, all topped off with my go-to leather jacket. When in France, I figured, why not? Stripes are so French. So fetch?

This is my final style post from Paris, but I am working on two videos of the trip that I will share with you soon! Until then, x. Paige

French Stripes at Villa Savoye

IMG_9978 I am back from Paris! It was a great trip and I thought I wouldn't waste any time getting an outfit post up since I have been absent for a few days! On Wednesday, my three friends and I took the RER train to Poissy to visit Le Corbusier's Villa Savoye. This home is a big ticket item on any architect lovers to-do list, so I was in awe being able to see it in person. We got super lucky with the weather; it was a warm and sunny day, something we are lacking in Denmark right now. I seized the moment by wearing a dress...and a striped one at that! I would be lying if I said packing stripes for France was unintentional, which you'll confirm in my next style post as well!

Although I mentioned that it was nice and sunny in Poissy, its still fall and that means I can't get away with just wearing a tank dress and tights anymore. I have a couple of tricks that help me stay warm that don't interfere with my outfit. Tip #1: Layer a long sleeved tee under your summer dress and then cover it up with your leather jacket! Tip #2: Throw some thigh-high socks over your socks. This extra layer isn't hidden, but that doesn't matter because its super on trend at the moment!

I will have my travel photos from Paris up this week so look forward to that! Thanks for stopping by the blog today, it's good to be back! x. Paige

Casual Metallics

IMG_9556 Metallics are having a moment right now...and a casual one at that. I decided to dress down my metallic UO tee that I typically pull out for holiday parties, and paired it with a blazer for a day spent working in studio. In order to rough up the look even more, I went with a ripped jean and a slouchy beanie to top it off. Instead of reaching for my favorite neon one, today I went with an earth tone to really let the top stand out and give on an easy-going vibe.
