This month, my Instagram was apparently a balance of selfies and travel snaps. Speaking of which, having you heard that "selfie" is word of the year and is officially part of the English dictionary? Seems fitting. We're all guilty of occasionally taking a photo of ourselves on a good hair day, aren't we? Enjoy, and don't forget to follow on Instagram @punkrockparti or click [here].
At 10 AM this morning my friends and I hopped on a train to hang out in Malmö for the day! Sweden is only an inexpensive 25 minute train ride from my apartment, and with a free day to explore we figured why not? Since being gone for an entire day necessitates being prepared for anything, I decided to work with layering a dress, tank top, tights, and a rain jacket. I think the colorful tank top kept the look from being too basic. Although this coat is your pretty standard black rain jacket, I love that it is cinched at the waist. It still gives me a shape and feels feminine!

My friends Elsa, Sheila, and I had a fun adventure today! Malmö is a bit smaller than I expected, but we got to see the famous Turning Torso building, and a few other cool finds like this bridge in the harbor. I thought you might like to see my lovely friends and what they were wearing as well! Aren't they the cutest? They are the best for always putting up with my outfit documentation.
Thanks for stopping by, hope you are having some fun adventures in your city! x. Paige
This is the dress I wore to my cousin's June wedding. I didn't get a chance to document it while I was in North Dakota, but luckily for me it is the perfect dress to wear to dinner in the hot Arizona summer. Besides the pretty floral print, I love the leg slits, v-neck, and strappy back. Details like this are what makes this maxi have a 90's vibe.
For a summer wedding, I don't think you need to wear with anything too fussy, which is why I opted for sandals. I finished off the look with my grandmother's vintage clutch (which may have actually gotten more compliments than the dress!) Finally, although I kept it simple at the wedding, for dinner I piled on an arm cuff and a couple interesting rings.

As I mentioned yesterday, I ended up needing to stay in town a day longer than I originally planned. You may remember my interview outfit for a study abroad scholarship a couple of weeks ago. Tonight was an award reception and I received one of the awards! I was so excited and thankful to receive it, and this is what I wore to it.
Sorry for such a short post--my Dad and hit the road right after the reception was over and I'm actually blogging from the car right now! Thank you Verizon hot spot! We are en route to Arizona and will be home tomorrow. I cannot wait!
