The Tailored Kimono

Since purchasing this duster coat in Copenhagen, I really haven't gotten enough chances to wear it because I bought it right before leaving that cooler climate...sad face. Luckily, it is linen and lightweight, so I can get away with wearing it in the evening, even in this crazy heat. I love that it takes this feminine sundress and tones it down, and I die over how long it is. Long pieces are huge right now, aka kimonos, and while the technical name is a duster coat, I would also call this the tailored kimono!

Today I'm going to look at some studio spaces for Studio Skate! It feels surreal that I will have my own place to spread out and work, and I can't wait to get out of the house more because I have been working from home. To keep up with this exciting new adventure, follow me on Instagram @punkrockparti and stay tuned! x, Paige

I have yet to unpack my bags from Copenhagen, so when I spotted this easy dress hanging out right on top of my suitcase, I threw it on and headed out the door! I wore it last week, but its one of my current favorite pieces in my wardrobe. As you can tell, I'm also still embracing my Danish style tendencies, by pairing the dress with my shoulder bag and some thick strapped sandals. I love that I had the opportunity to travel abroad and see what a different culture wears, and I want to try and maintain some Danish touches in my wardrobe from now on, although I am stateside again!

I should also mention how great it feels to be back in the Arizona heat! I thought I would start melting as soon as I got off the plane, but it's surprisingly a bit breezy here and not too hot yet, so I'm loving it. It feels strange to walk out the door without tights + a sweater on, but I'm a summer girl at heart and I can't wait to jump in the pool and get my tan back this week! I'll see you tomorrow! x, Paige

Spring Fever

I thought I wouldn't get to give this dress a spin until I was home in sunny Arizona, but lucky for me the sun finally came out in Copenhagen today! After almost a week of miserable weather, I was very excited to wear this floral number. I think it's such a versatile dress! T-shirt dresses have gone to the top of my want list. Here I've paired mine with structured black pieces to balance out the pretty factor, but I can see myself throwing it on with sunnies + some sandals once I get to Phoenix as well! I'm sure you guys will seeing this dress a lot here on Punkrockparti :)

Although I'm very grateful to have some sun before I leave Copenhagen, I will admit it makes it much harder to leave. When the rain was pouring down I was dreaming of the West Coast, but Copenhagen just sparkles in the sunshine. I don't know a better way to describe it than that! The flowers bloom, people are smiling, and everything just feels happy. I keep getting sappy at the end of every blog post, I know, but god I love this city. x, Paige
