Messy Hair Don't Care

IMG_9439 Although I cut them weeks ago, I'm finally embracing my bangs. I'm not sure if its because my days are getting busier and they are easier to style, or because I'm obsessed with this blogger babe lately, but I am loving the new look. This morning, I decided to embrace messy hair and roll out bed and into the city. To take my bedhead chic vibe one step further, I threw my fluffy jacket over the band tee I had slept in and was good to go. Laziness for the win!

I didn't bring back many fashion-related finds from Amsterdam, but I did pick up this cube ring at the Waterlooplein Flea Market. I have always wanted a ring like this so when I spotted one for a good price I decided to snag it! Since I am always working with my hands, I've just given up on bracelets because they are always in the way. Rings are my new love for this reason!

P.S. If you are ever in Amsterdam check out that flea market I mentioned. It is always there and haggling is commonplace as well, which is always fun. Thanks for reading today!

Sneaker Chic

IMG_8691 Tonight I had all of my architecture friends from my home university over for a dinner party at my kollegium, and we had a great time! We made some delicious food, played foosball, and wandered around the Figure 8 building afterwards. I was doing laundry earlier and didn't really have any clean pants to wear, so I opted for a skirt for the occasion. I wanted to wear my new fuzzy number, so I kept the rest of my top half simple with a striped tee from the flea market and a cool statement necklace.

I promised you guys a while back that I would show you an example of the way Danish girls dress up for an event. I've noticed that an oversized sweater with a bodycon and a pair of sneakers is their fancy outfit of choice, and I tried to wear something similar with this look. I love the ease of an outfit like this because you're not teetering in a heeled boot or anything while you cook or entertain. You also overall just give off a more laid back vibe and can enjoy the party without worrying about having sore feet!

Would you try out this style? I'd love to know! x. Paige

Fuzzy for Fall

IMG_8643 I am loving the big fuzzy jacket trend for fall + winter right now, and was on the hunt for a piece that was the perfect style and price. Yesterday, I was in my studio browsing my favorite blogs when I came across this outfit on Michelle's blog StoneMuse, who is my favorite Danish style blogger by the way! She was wearing the perfect fuzzy piece, and it turned out it was from a store literally a few doors down from my school. Within a few minutes I had scored this baby from New Yorker...ahh the beauty of the Internet. I am so excited to get cozy in this jacket now that it's getting colder. IT'S SO FLUFFY.

I wore this outfit into the city today to work on my current project and then met up with my friends for Indian food! I think I am getting a little sick currently so I'm trying to lay low for the rest of the weekend to be ready for this upcoming busy week and school and trip next Sunday! I hope that you are having a great weekend and thank you for stopping by! x. Paige
