Gold Accessories, Gold Facade

IMG_7830 So I wandered over to the Figure 8 building again tonight...I can't help it that I'm obsessed. Any of my architecture friends will tell you that I am a huge Bjarke Ingels Group fan and will defend their projects if anyone disagrees. And hey, if you live across from something by your favorite firm, I think taking any chance to soak it in is a good thing!

But anyways, about the outfit. I am having a major crush on this necklace I picked up in the city lately. A chunky gold chain necklace is a staple piece in a lot of European girls' wardrobes I've noticed, but I like that this one is a little bit different with the two layers and added spikes. I've been pairing it with a lot of plain tops lately, but finally wearing it with my favorite band tee today felt so right.

Tomorrow I have a big group presentation in studio to finish off the week, but am not really sure what to wear. No matter what I decide, I know it won't be too many layers. The weather here has been unbelievable. I know I talk about weather on this blog a lot...because, well, that sort of dictates what I wear everyday, but seriously it's so sunny and warm and beautiful here. Copenhagen, please stay like this forever. Let's just forget about that thing called winter and enjoy our tank tops and suntans. Please?

OOTD // Packing Up

IMG_3053 Today I have been packing up my studio and room in preparation for leaving at the end of the week. I actually may have to leave a day later than planned, but I will share why in the next few days! In order to stay stylish yet functional, I paired one of my go-to muscle tees with some durable boots. Finally, the gold-toned accessories and sunnies are then keeping the look a little polished.

Notice the large piece of plywood? Despite being obsessed with this texture for photo backgrounds lately, I am working on a special DIY to give my roommates as going away gift because I won't be seeing them for a year. More on that later this week!

"Disorder and Disarray"

IMG_0127 As promised, here is the outfit I wore to style the denim jacket I upcycled in yesterday's DIY! To avoid wearing double denim, I paired it with my leather skater skirt which also gave a nice contrast of textures. In order to not let the look get too feminine, I laced up my Sk8-Hi's and really like how the look turned out.

Today I chose a Rancid song for today's outfit because of the patch on my jacket. Listen along to one of my favorites, "Disorder and Disarray" while you view here!

In case you noticed, yes I did upgrade to a new camera. If you're interested, I chose the Canon Rebel T3i. It's only been a few days, but I would definitely recommend it if you are in the market!

DSC_1311 So this outfit prompts me to wonder if I should rename my blog "Countless Ways to Style Iron Maiden muscle tees." I'm joking of course, and I hope you guys aren't sick of seeing these tops. I just got such a great deal on eBay, they're super comfy, and are the perfect amount of bad ass vibes.

I paired it with my Unif Morrison pants, which I can't seem to take off lately. I just love the fit and that ankle slit. I die for the way that detail looks when paired with these red pumps from Target. That's another great thing about this outfit, it's under $60. Killer.

The track for today's outfit is "Killers," the title track for the album pictured on this shirt. Listen along below while you view!

I wore this outfit to dinner with friends my last night in California before spring break, and liked the classy casual look it gave me!
