I keep small canvases around for moments when I get a bit bored, so that I can just pull them out and create something, but don't have to put too much thought or stress into it. I just started going with this one, and ended up drawing some 90's poppy fun art complete with trolls, yin yangs, and more. I really like the color scheme of this one, and am thinking about doing something like this to entire skateboard deck! yay? nay? Let me know!
I just finished this whimsical little bone series last night and I am so happy with how it turned out! When I found these small canvases, I was inspired to do some quick and fun little paintings on them and this is what I came up with.
These paintings are now available for individual sale on my Etsy shop so check that out if you are interested!
I have also added another item to my shop--this ribcage deck that I wrote about a while back. It was on display for a competition for the past few months, but I am now selling it as well.
This is my most recent deck design for the Coalition 4th Annual Deck Competition. This is a skateboard deck art competition that a local skate shop in my town puts on annually. If you like to see my entry from last year, you can see it here! This rib cage design is also similar to a previous deck I painted and sold on my Etsy (see it here).
I wanted to take another pass at this design, and worked on improving the look of the spine, and the placement of the rib cage. In addition, including the shop's name and logo were a requirement, so I had some fun with the placement of those on the board.
This board was completed in 2 days using acrylic paint and paint pen.
If you're interested in getting one of my skate deck designs, you can check out my Etsy here! I am currently taking custom requests, and will sometimes have pre-designed decks up for sale as well! Thanks for checking out my art!
