Bangs + Burgundy

IMG_8670 So, obvious thing first...I got bangs! I've been away from the blog for a few days and while I was taking a break, this happened. I actually did it myself last night and having never cut my own hair before, I was pretty pleasantly surprised with how they turned out. I just felt like I needed a little drama in my 'do. My favorite part is that they add some more interest to an every day top knot, which is the preferred hairstyle of choice for women in Denmark. At first I thought it was just a style thing, but after seeing how windy it has been recently these past few days, I now realize its a necessity. But a stylish one!

Another current favorite is burgundy. Also know in the blogosphere as oxblood, I love seeing this color pop up starting in fall. It's a color that is still dark to fit in with the season, but is just as easy to work into your wardrobe as any other neutral. This Vero Moda cardigan adds some pop to an otherwise all-black outfit. I'm into it.

Fuzzy for Fall

IMG_8643 I am loving the big fuzzy jacket trend for fall + winter right now, and was on the hunt for a piece that was the perfect style and price. Yesterday, I was in my studio browsing my favorite blogs when I came across this outfit on Michelle's blog StoneMuse, who is my favorite Danish style blogger by the way! She was wearing the perfect fuzzy piece, and it turned out it was from a store literally a few doors down from my school. Within a few minutes I had scored this baby from New Yorker...ahh the beauty of the Internet. I am so excited to get cozy in this jacket now that it's getting colder. IT'S SO FLUFFY.

I wore this outfit into the city today to work on my current project and then met up with my friends for Indian food! I think I am getting a little sick currently so I'm trying to lay low for the rest of the weekend to be ready for this upcoming busy week and school and trip next Sunday! I hope that you are having a great weekend and thank you for stopping by! x. Paige

Gold Accessories, Gold Facade

IMG_7830 So I wandered over to the Figure 8 building again tonight...I can't help it that I'm obsessed. Any of my architecture friends will tell you that I am a huge Bjarke Ingels Group fan and will defend their projects if anyone disagrees. And hey, if you live across from something by your favorite firm, I think taking any chance to soak it in is a good thing!

But anyways, about the outfit. I am having a major crush on this necklace I picked up in the city lately. A chunky gold chain necklace is a staple piece in a lot of European girls' wardrobes I've noticed, but I like that this one is a little bit different with the two layers and added spikes. I've been pairing it with a lot of plain tops lately, but finally wearing it with my favorite band tee today felt so right.

Tomorrow I have a big group presentation in studio to finish off the week, but am not really sure what to wear. No matter what I decide, I know it won't be too many layers. The weather here has been unbelievable. I know I talk about weather on this blog a lot...because, well, that sort of dictates what I wear everyday, but seriously it's so sunny and warm and beautiful here. Copenhagen, please stay like this forever. Let's just forget about that thing called winter and enjoy our tank tops and suntans. Please?

DSC_0063 The highlight of today's post is my top. These DIY skull tees have been popular in the past, both on my blog and when I wear them out. I have decided to start selling them, and I have 4 available on my Etsy store! They are made from vintage fabrics, and I hope to experiment with even more prints in the future. I'm loving this aztec print and how it can be styled casually or more dressed up as you can see in this outfit. Check out some of my past outfit posts wearing handmade skull tees here, here, here, and here!

Also, Happy New Years Eve! What are you planning to wear tonight? I'm thinking of pairing a black dress with the jacket from this outfit. I'll try to photograph it if it's not too dark, but if not, check out my dream New Years Eve outfits up on my new Polyvore! Finally, be safe tonight! xo
