Copenhagen Must-Haves!

In a little over a month I am packing my bags for a school year abroad in Copenhagen! As big as my closet is, this Arizona girl is lacking clothes fit for cold and rainy weather. These are some of the pieces I have my eye on to keep me warm and prepared, but also stylish while abroad: Copenhagen Must Haves with text

American Apparel Disco Pants // will go with anything and hello thick material to keep me warm! North Face Backpack // I need a huge hands free carryall for short trips around Europe Dot Grid Journal // you can bet I'll be packing a bunch of sketchbooks, and I have my eye on this one Drop Dead Jacket // I'm on the hunt for visually interesting jackets to avoid being in solid black Gold Chain Necklace // Need one of these babies to throw on with the disco pants and a sweater Unif Hellraisers // It's no secret I love black loafers, and I'm ready upgrade to a spiky pair Pilot Varsity Ink Pen // These are my favorite sketching pens; I want to stock up and bring a bunch Clear Heeled Rain Boots // Amazingly minimal for rainy days in Copenhagen...but sold out ugh!

I'm excited to get to Copenhagen, and the chance to pick up a few great new pieces. I hope you'll join me in preparation for my big trip! Thanks for reading! x

OOTD_94 + Polyvore!

DSC_1081 I am always really inspired by London fashion, and I learn about a lot of it from Youtubers. I think this would be similar to their typical "uni" outfit, which is where I wore this today. As always, my Docs are also great for rainy days. And finally I thought that the blue beanie was a good pop of color to brighten up a neutral toned outfit.

Last night I took a break from my studio work and played around with my Polyvore a bit because I hadn't in a while. I styled some outfits with the "Big Lita" by Jeffrey Campbell, my dream shoe at the moment. You can check out the outfits here!

OOTD 76_"Let Your Love Grow Tall"

DSC_0738 The best thing about Dr. Martens? They double as rain boots. Today was drizzly so I threw mine on over my cathedral leggings. I was excited to style these casually, in contrast to this outfit. Although it's typical to pair crazy pants with black pieces, I wanted to keep the outfit subdued. To add interest, I used layers with sheer and leather details. I topped off the look with my trusty BDG beanie, which is not only stylish, but hides my hair on a messy day when I'm late to class.

The track for today's outfit post is "Let Your Love Grow Tall" by Passion Pit. Listen along below while you view!

I'm loving the scenery in today's photos. Everything turns so green here when it rains that I couldn't resist! I'm working on having more interesting backgrounds in my photos--let me know what you think!

OOTD_50

Today's rainy day called for lots of layering, but I still felt like wearing a dress so I added these new oxblood tights to my outfit, and topped off the look with my DIY crocheted beanie to add another pop of the on-trend color to my outfit! I'm also wearing 2 pieces that I scored at the Rose Bowl Flea Market (the vest and boots) and two items that I've had in my closet forever (the dress and grey hoodie).

I'm also kind of in the mood to include a song to compliment this outfit post. Today I'm listening to "Carry On" by fun. Listen and watch the (amazing) video here.

I can't believe this is my 50th outfit of the day post! Thanks so much for reading, and remember to follow along with me on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram if you haven't yet!
