Golden Girl

Although I wear an apron while I work in my studio, some days I just have to wear a grungy outfit and not worry about getting messy! My guy friend gave me this shirt a while back so its super oversized, but I actually kind of liked it with the shorts peeking out. Paired with some gold + summery accessories it turned into a fun, summery look!

P.S. How fun is it that my skateboard matched my shoes?! This deck is a work in progress and I'm excited to see what it turns into!

Asymmetrical Edge

Last week I promised I would style the rest of my California shopping finds with you, and this Metallica tank is my favorite piece I picked up! The fringe is so unique and I really wanted to pair it with something that would help it pop. This asymmetrical skirt was the perfect fit because the black contrasts with the grey, and I love the edgy silhouette as well.

I am seriously so obsessed with band tees that have some unexpected details lately. I have started cutting up some of my tees and adding cool elements. Will share soon!

First Fridays

I've been loving getting more involved with local events lately now that I am a small business owner. One of my favorites to attend is First Fridays, a place where artists sell their work + galleries open there doors to the public once a month. I threw on a relaxed outfit, grabbed my friend Jake and some decks, and we headed to Downtown Phoenix. After a little exploring + shopping, we did some networking as well. So fun!

I am enjoying local events so much lately! They make me feel more connected to my city, and so many tcreatives are there to share their work + make friends! Try it for yourself :)

Skate Style

When you own a skateboard brand and are off to the first day at your new studio, you better wear some of your favorite skate gear! Knowing that I'd be moving + painting all day, I reached for some casual pieces like my favorite tee from my friends at Parfa Crew. I'm not usually one to be match-matchy, but after choosing the orange top, I couldn't help but throw on my coordinating Vans and go! I was out the door, moved everything into my new space, and worked on a couple of decks for the rest of the afternoon...heaven.

Today I'm off to catch up with some friends before work, and then to the studio to hopefully get another deck finished and get it up on the web shop before the weekend! My weekend starts tomorrow because I'm off to California in the morning for a road trip, so tonight I have to pack! I'm planning on bringing a bunch of florals, kimonos, and maybe even a sweater?! What do you guys think? See you tomorrow!    x, Paige
