Garden Parti

IMG_7029.JPG

As a girl with a tendency to wear a muscle tank top + cutoff denim on a regular basis, I sometimes have to remind myself to work with my best features and play up my figure. I can't help that I'm drawn to grungy outfits, but a little reminder to embrace your curves is always a good one. I wish I had a fab garden party to wear this outfit to...but I think anyone in Arizona would be too crazy to sit outside for that long! A girl can dream.

Apparently I have been the bargain queen lately, and I scored this crop top the other day for $3.47. Aren't these shirts normally an arm and a leg at American Apparel or something? Not sure, but I'm proud to say I bought the majority of my closet on sale. Score! Another way to save money is trading clothes with your bestie. I just realized that this entire outfit is made up of sale pieces and items my best friend passed on to me. It pays off to have similar taste!          x, Paige

Metallica Maven

When I first bought this Metallica sweatshirt, I worried that a band crew neck would be difficult to style, but boy was I wrong. Pants, shorts, skirts...you name it, it works. My favorite way to wear it is with a skirt, because it's the most unexpected look! Of course I chose my acid-washed denim number to keep the grunge factor going...and the [acidentally] ripped tights helped add to that effect.

Speaking of versatile pieces, I hope you guys aren't getting sick of these sunnies. I just think they are the perfect finishing touch to a lot of looks! Lately I can't seem to leave the house without either these sunglasses or a red lip. That final pop of color has really been the make-or-break-it element for me lately! I am trying to find another mirrored pair though, so that I can change it up once in a while...? See you tomorrow babes! x, Paige.

Creepin' It Real

IMG_4883.jpg

Cities are always unexpected...like finding a cemetery on the street I bike past every day twice a day. I was wearing a rather grim shirt on the day I found it, so it must be meant to be! I ordered this top during Urban's huge Christmas sale, and Jake brought it with him to Copenhagen for me. I'm always excited to rotate some new pieces into my wardrobe, and instead of pairing this one with my usual black jeans, I pulled this denim skirt out of my closet. I love the texture and the way it brightens up the other black pieces, while still having some nice texture.

Although this outfit is rather dark [what's new?] spring is here! This was the first day I didn't have to wear a coat! YES! I'm so excited to work my lighter jackets into my wardrobe soon. Especially since they are fun patterns + colors. It will be nice to take a break from my typical black outfits. Also, spring means flowers, which I love. That is all.
