Sunday Morning Rain is Falling...

IMG_4828 Monsoon season is in full force over here in AZ. However, just because it's rainy, doesn't mean it gets cold. On Sunday I sported my favorite beanie and Docs to gear up against the rain, but still showed some skin and kept cool with cutoffs and a tank. I've noticed that I've been wearing a lot of neutrals recently, so I decided to add some neon to spice up this look. I love how it was a surprise pop, and reminds me to throw some more color into my outfits.

On this day, Jake and I puddle jumped over to Goodwill to search for some vintage goodies. I scored this camera for $6, and after loading it up with film, it was set to go! I'm excited to put it to use this summer because film causes you to photograph in a different way because you're more limited. As for digital photography, keep up with me on Instagram for snaps like this one!

Washroom Warrior

IMG_4013 Recently I've been beating the heat in nothing but workout gear and bathing suits, but last night decided to dress up for a change. I wore this blouse and shorts combo to dinner and movies with my friends. Since I wear this Gypsy Warrior shirt a lot, I like to mix it with new pieces all the time, which is why I chose these green Free People shorts. To finish off the look, I went with black and gold in my shoes, necklace, and other favorite Gypsy Warrior piece, my studded bowling bag.

Sometimes I just don't get a chance to photograph my outfit at daylight, so I experimented with this new setting at my friend's apartment. For the night, I was a washroom warrior.

Electric Ladyland

IMG_3645 The legacy of graphic tanks and shorts continues. This has been my uniform for the last few days because of the heat, but I'm not complaining. This is a favorite look for me because it is comfortable and I can just add interest with accessories. I'm loving how the bright print of the shirt and the grass in the background are giving off an electric vibe.

This morning I got a long overdue haircut and I am loving the healthy feel. It may look shorter because of the curls my stylist gave me (which I love) but it's still got a lot of length. I can't wait until I have long locks!

"Paradise City"

IMG_2313 A few posts ago I talked about layering, and I found that I am playing with it again today! I wore this outfit yesterday, and layered this very oversized tee over a feminine lace skirt. This layering was perfect for me because this skirt tends to ride up in the front meaning I am constantly pulling it down. The longer shirt keeps it down so I am more worry free, and I also like how it looks like the lace is coming from the tee!
