Stockholm Style

A black coat, black skinnies, and a rugged boot are essentials for me while traveling. After wearing through many pairs of shoes, I love having a pair I can trek all over with. There was so much to see in Stockholm, so I was happy to have these babies. I'm also starting to work some color back into my wardrobe, I had to stash this vibrant floral tee I just picked up at Monki. It is bringing some life + fun back into my wardrobe! Admittedly I still have some style envy walking down the street past girls clad in head-to-toe black. It's just so chic!

I have always been curious to go to Stockholm and check out the street style there, but I was honestly unimpressed. I don't mean that in a snobby way at all, but I honestly think that the style in Copenhagen is at a whole different level, and Stockholm didn't compare. Maybe I was hanging out in the wrong areas, but when I got back to Copenhagen this week and walked around this weekend I spotted way more style that I loved. Have you experienced something like this before? x, Paige.

Ballroom Black @ Kronborg Castle

Last week Jake and I took two days of our time together to explore castles in northern Denmark and Sweden, which was so fun! This ballroom was my favorite space because of the great light and all of the little bright nooks you could sit in and enjoy the light. My all-black loving self was definitely in full force this day, but I always try to keep things interesting like the texture of my lace cardigan or my ripped knee jeans. Which reminds me! Jeans are definitely not made to hold up to a Copenhagen biking lifestyle. All of my pairs have complete worn out inside the legs...sad day. Guess it's time to go shopping! Hehe...

I feel like I've been wearing so much black because of wintertime...but let me tell you I am ready to rock some color! I'm sure soon I'll miss the sleek look it gives me, but I have so many colorful pieces in my closet that are ready to come out to play for spring! I'm pretty sure today was the official first day of spring...and even if not, it sure looked like it in Copenhagen today. I feel like I've never seen the city so busy! Every street corner was bustling with people, running, biking, or just sitting and soaking up the sun. I am so excited to enjoy Copenhagen for these next two months before heading back to the states! x, Paige.
