Huntington Beach Style

IMG_5962 I am back from California! My friends Jake, Jamie, Ben, and I took a roadtrip to SoCal for the weekend for a last summer hurrah. We had such a good time, I love my friends because they find the funnest things to do in our free time. I decided not to take my computer on the trip and just take a blogging break and enjoy our time together. However, now that I'm back I have so much to share with you from our trip and also all of the exciting preparation for my trip to Copenhagen!

On Friday after going rock climbing, we stopped by Huntington Beach to throw the football around and grab some dinner. This is the casual outfit I wore that was perfect for playing in the waves. I haven't worn this vintage tee I got at flea market in so long, but I loved the light feel of it for a summer day!

We came back from our trip just in time for my birthday! I'm finally 21 today, I can't believe it! Tonight I will be celebrating with a bunch of my friends at dinner and then heading to Old Town Scottsdale now that I'm legal. I am so excited to celebrate tonight and will hopefully find some time to document my obnoxious party dress. Thanks for sticking around while I was out of town, and hope you had a great weekend! x. "Wicked Wisdom"

IMG_0887 I started off my morning by walking to meet my friends downtown by the creek and watercolor. It was the most beautiful day out so we also got some froyo and then I got a quick run in before doing some homework. I then got ready in this outfit for a study abroad party I'm going to tonight. I don't think I have mentioned this on here before, but next year I will be studying in Copenhagen for 9 months, so tonight is for us to learn from older students about the program some more, which is really exciting! Tonight I wanted to keep things casual, but not sacrifice style, so I decided on a printed blouse and statement clutch.

I chose "Wicked Wisdom" by Of Montreal as tonight's outfit track because I have been listening to them more lately when I edit videos, and as always, it has a great vibe. Listen along below while you view!

OOTD_77: "The Downfall of Us All"

DSC_0678 the iridescent trend is in full swing from shoes to jewelry, but my favorite pieces have to be clutches. they give your outfit a bold pop of color, that is extra shiny as well. this is why i was so excited when my friend Courtney got me this H&M clutch for Christmas recently! i love what it adds to my outfit.

the track for today's outfit is "The Downfall of Us All" by A Day to Remember. this band has helped me power through my homework the past few days, and always for that matter. listen along here while you view!

although its a bit bold, i decided to incorporate other green pieces in my wardrobe for this look as well. i pulled out two of my favorite DIY pieces, my plaid studded blazer and my Unif-inspired tee. finally, i edged up the look even more with my Creepers and spiked bracelet. let's be honest...i think this might be my favorite outfit to date!

DSC_1076 With Christmas around the corner, it was time to pull out my favorite festive sweater that I picked up at an H&M sale last season for 10 bucks. With the weather not that cold in AZ, I decided to pair it with the summer staple--cutoff Levi's. These two items contrast, but I kind of like that about this look. I was headed to have lunch with my friend Courtney, so I added my studded combat boots to tie the whole outfit together and make it on trend!
